Meet Steve
At the age of 24, fresh out of university, I made my first property purchase in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the beginning of a decade-long journey, during which I acquired and meticulously remodeled over 30 properties, building a diverse and valuable rental portfolio. My hands-on approach to renovation and my eye for detail quickly set me apart in the competitive property market.
In 1999, I relocated to Cape Town, South Africa, where I saw an opportunity to do more than just develop properties—I recognized a pressing need for addiction treatment facilities. Driven by a sense of purpose, I began acquiring and transforming properties into state-of-the-art addiction treatment centers. Over the next 15 years, I established South Africa’s largest privately-owned continuum of care for addiction treatment culminating in a 50 bed psychiatric facility, combining my passion for property development with a mission to create life-changing environments.
In 2017, I moved to Palm Springs, California, where my love for real estate continues to thrive. My approach at Panga Properties is straightforward: I cut through the nonsense and focus on delivering high-quality renovations with integrity and transparency. With decades of experience across continents, I understand the value of blending vision with practicality, and I pride myself on getting things done—efficiently and expertly.

Meet Bolt – Our Favorite Ex Property Manager
Bolt, our beloved pitbull-labrador mix from South Africa, was so much more than a pet—he was the soul of Panga Properties. With his sharp instincts and daily job site check-ins, Bolt made sure every renovation was running smoothly—or at least, he thought he did.
When he wasn’t "supervising," Bolt could be found mingling with the crew, always ready to share a lunch (or sneak a snack) and offer a little love. With those eyes and that goofy charm, saying no was never an option. His presence brought joy and calm to even the busiest days, reminding us that sometimes the most important part of a project is a wagging tail and a moment to breathe.
Saying goodbye to Bolt was one of our hardest days. We had to put him down, and while he may no longer be trotting through job sites, his spirit is still deeply felt in everything we do.
Today, we carry on with Panga, our new pup, who’s proudly stepping into the paw prints Bolt left behind. He’s got big shoes to fill, but with his own energy, affection, and curiosity, Panga is continuing the legacy—reminding us, once again, that this team will always have a dog at its heart.

Meet Panga, the enthusiastic new pup stepping in to fill some very big paw prints at Panga Properties. As the successor to our beloved Bolt, Panga has taken on the important role of team companion and job site morale booster. While Bolt, our unforgettable pitbull-labrador mix from South Africa, was the heart of the operation, Panga brings fresh energy and a curious spirit to every renovation project.
Though no dog could ever truly replace Bolt, Panga is already making his mark—inspecting job sites, sneaking snacks, and making sure there's never a dull moment. His playful nature and loyalty remind us that while Bolt’s legacy lives on, there’s a new tail wagging at the center of Panga Properties.
